Megha Silk Sari – Handwoven Traditional Pure Silk Sari
Our “Megha” saree is inspired by the grey clouds in monsoons. Megha handwoven mulberry silk saree is printed with teak and guava leaves and hand dyed in haritaki seeds.
Haritaki seeds are cooked for several hours to extract the herbal dye. The body of the handwoven mulberry silk saree is printed with guava and teak leaves by steaming for 5 hours.
There may be certain irregularities, and non uniformity in color. These are characteristics of handloom natural dyed products and we do not consider them as defects. Ecoprinted products vary slightly in shade and print for every batch.
