Handwoven mulberry silk saree printed with eucalyptus leaves and hand dyed in madder roots. Accentuated with intricate hand needle shibori on the pallu, this saree is one of a kind piece of art.

Madder roots ("Manjistha" in sanskrit ) are harvested and cooked for 15 hours to extract the beautiful crimson red from the roots. The handwoven saree is then hand dyed in this beautiful medicinal elixir.Eucalyptus leaves are locally foraged and printed on the saree by process of steaming for 5 hours making it a one of a kind non replicable piece of art.

There may be certain irregularities, and non uniformity in color. These are characteristics of handloom natural dyed products and we do not consider them as defects. Ecoprinted products vary slightly in shade and print for every batch.
