Daman Furoshiki is an amalgamation of India’s rich textile heritage with the Japanese art of Furoshiki, creating beautiful and eco-friendly fabric gift wraps.
Furoshiki wraps can be reused as a gift wrap or can be used creatively as a napkin, a bandana, or even as a scarf!
Our Furoshiki wraps are made in 100% cotton, with traditional Indian hand block printing using vegetable and natural dyes.
Each Wrap is accompanied by an easy-to-follow wrapping instruction diagram. Also, watch the video of the wrapping instruction.
SIZES
A simple rule of thumb to apply while choosing a size is to choose a furoshiki size with a diagonal length 3 times the longest length of the object you will be wrapping. If you have any doubts please message us and we will help you choose the correct size.
Small - 13 " x 13 " ( 33 cm x 33 cm ) - Diagonal = 18"/46 cm - Suitable for objects between 4" x 3" x 1" to 6" x 4" x 2") E.g - Jewelry boxes, perfume bottles, tea light holders and small boxes. Can also be used as a handkerchief or cocktail napkin.
Medium/ Standard - 20" x 20" ( 52 cm x 52 cm) - Diagonal - 29" / 73 cm ( Suitable for objects between 5" x 5" x 2" and 9 "x 6" x 3" - E.g for Books, Watch Boxes, Cosmetic and perfume sets, Kindle, mini iPad, small toy
Large -27″ X 27″ (70 cm x 70 cm) - Diagonal = 39"/99 cm (Suitable for objects between 9″ x 6″ x 3″ and 12″ x 8 ″ x 5″) - Garment Boxes, Shoe boxes, I pad, Board Games, toys, small LEGO/play sets, 1 or 2 Wine bottles, small bags. This size can also be folded into a Furoshiki Bag
