Agni Silk Sari – Handwoven Traditional Pure Silk Sari
Taking inspiration from the hues of fire, our “Agni” handwoven mulberry silk saree emerges in a combination of bright red and yellow. “Agni’ saree is printed with guava, silver oak leaves and hand dyed in madder roots and marigold flowers.
Roots od madder plant and temple waste marigold flowers are cooked for several hours to extract the herbal dye. The body of the handwoven mulberry silk saree is printed with silver oak and guava leaves by steaming for 5 hours.
There may be certain irregularities, and non uniformity in color. These are characteristics of handloom natural dyed products and we do not consider them as defects. Ecoprinted products vary slightly in shade and print for every batch.
